Rocky ~ Blue & Gold Macaw
These are photos right after Rocky’s arrival. He is a real joy to have around even with his tantrums which tend to be on the loud side. Rocky still gets car sick which is a shame because he loves going places. He goes to all of our education programs.

We're on our way! I was just fine until it got dark and I started yelling so Kelly & Larry drove home with the cab light on and wondered how they would explain it if a cop pulled them over. I felt a lot better after that. I only threw up a little bit. Not a lot at all. Me (and everyone else) had a late dinner of rice, pasta, beans and veggies. I got a messy beak but everyone was too tired to take my picture. This is the view out my new window. It won't last forever, but it is spring and it is just beeeeeutiful!

I’m doing okay Mom! I was in my smaller cage last night... it was closest to the end of the truck. My new cage was set up this morning after an omelette with broccoli, corn, carrots & whole wheat tortillas! I had some grapes too.

I woke everyone up at 5 can’t let everyone sleep TOO late! After an hour and a half of yelling “OUT!” “HURTS!” They finally got up and let me out. Especially since I got everyone else yelling too. I have a new toy and it was really fun seeing how far I could throw it but then they fastened it on. *pout*

It's already time to start thinking about a nap and some preening.

What is that funny box they keep pointing at me? Look at the new toy Aunt Betsy gave me! How fun!
I have tried a dozen different ways of getting this thing off but I just can't do it. I'll keep trying to figure it out.
I say “Okay!” most often --I’m very amiable. Kelly gave me a NutriBerry and I grabbed her finger instead. Hehehehe. I've also said “Hello Rocks!” and “Hello Rocky!”.
